No Man Is An Island
No matter how well prepared and self-sufficient any of us were, we will need each other to endure both the short and long term effects of the current crisis as individuals, families and a community.
The economic effects cannot be understated or thought to be limited to the passing of a few weeks.
As we retreat into our community, we need, more than ever, to be aware of our neighbors, their needs and dispel their fears.
The Orangeville Community Victory Garden is an opportunity for us to help ourselves and our neighbors who will experience need while providing our community with a symbol of hope for the future so that we may all emerge from this crisis knowing our neighbors better and lay the foundations for a stronger more vibrant community.
